Each panellist gave personal insight as to why they are actively involved with The Ireland Funds. Since the event, the inaugural Young Leaders Committee has been established with a growing membership, chaired byLouise Broderick , and supported by six Committee members. The Young Lead-ers organized the Singapore chapters Remote Global 5K Run which was a great success with over 160 registered runners (despite the limitations of the current situation), and have designatedEQUALas their beneciary for 2021. EQUAL is an award-winning animal assisted intervention center drawing on skills share with a counterpart organization in Ireland, to deliver horse therapy to the elderly, disadvantaged and people with special needs. The Young Leaders plans for the year ahead include broadening membership, social and philanthropic networking, fundraising events and a mentorship program.
