b'In February 2020,TheIrelandFundslaunchedtheGeorgeMooreScholarsprogram, an all-Ireland scholarship program which supports students who wish to undertake a masters degree in the US or elsewhere, to realize their full career potential. In the rst year, sixteen scholars were supported from a fund of 500,000. By 2025, it is expected that the number of George Moore Scholars will grow to 50 per annum, supported from a fund of 2 million annually.The George Moore Scholars program is aimed at academ-ically talented students from all academic disciplines within the twelve universities across Ireland and Northern Ireland and supports students who have completed their second and third-level education on the island of Ireland.Thehigh-valuescholarshipscoverthecostofhighereducation fees, research, travel, visas, health insurance and otherlivingcostsassociatedwithpursuingpostgraduateeducation abroad. In June 2020, sixteen George Moore Scholars were selected after a rigorous application process, which included academic review and interviews.
