The Ireland Funds is helping fight elderly isolation across Ireland, one phone call at a time. Leitrim Calling is a friendly confidential telephone call support service available to older and vulnerable persons primarily across south of Co. Leitrim and its borders.

Community Action Network
Community Action Network (CAN) was founded in 1987 to respond to the pressing issues of high unemployment, poor housing, endemic poverty, and the early days of the heroin epidemic in Dublin city. With help from The Ireland Funds, CAN is showing communities how to tackle overwhelming challenges at the grassroots level.

Depaul is a cross-border charity established in 2002 in the Republic of Ireland and 2005 in Northern Ireland. The Ireland Funds is helping this pioneering organization as it focuses on homelessness and supporting the most vulnerable in society.

The George Moore Scholars
One of the pillars of The Ireland Funds’ mission is education. The Ireland Funds invests in high-quality education by supporting programs that widen access to and participation in third-level education, and extend a broad range of learning opportunities for students of all ages. The George Moore Scholars program is an ambitious initiative to offer extraordinary academic support to some of Ireland’s best and brightest students.
