COVID-19 Response Fund

Providing vital support at a crucial time


As the COVID-19 pandemic took hold in Ireland this spring, The Ireland Funds moved quickly to establish the COVID-19 Response Fund in support of communities in crisis.


Thanks to the response of our donors, we have been supporting the work of projects on the ground and ensuring the delivery of key services to thousands of people across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The Ireland Funds met up on 10/5 for this socially distanced golf event.

The Bayonne Golf Club is designed to rival the look and feel of the legendary links courses of Ireland and Scotland.

Business Plan Competition

This was the first time the program was delivered remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions. With nine businesses competing in the final, Signal Optimiser took top prize, with OpinionX and Safety Freelancer as runners up.

Remote Global 5K

On Saturday 19 September 2020, hundreds of our friends and supporters ran, walked, hiked, and even paddled our Remote Global 5K to support the work of The Ireland Funds.

Although everyone took part separately, in a place of their own choosing, the sense of camaraderie was strong with everyone coming together on social media to share pictures of their routes and local landmarks.
