On Thursday, July 22nd, the New York Young Leaders held their annual Summer in the City Celebration at Hudson Terrace on Manhattan's West Side. The sold out party was a great success and a tribute to the Young Leaders commitment to the Fund.
The event was attended by U.S. Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Declan Kelly 
and UBS CEO of Wealth Management Americas Bob McCann who spoke to the Young Leaders about becoming involved in the US-Northern Ireland Mentorship Program. Declan and Bob asked the Young Leaders to become involved in the program to serve as “buddies” to the program participants.
Guests enjoyed a raffle and a live auction with several notable prizes, including luxury box tickets to the Yankees and dinner at the Plaza Hotel, a round of golf with Declan Kelly and Bob McCann at Bayonne Golf Club and a luxury trip to Ireland, offered by Cliff House Hotel in Waterford and the Westbury in Dublin. Demonstrating why The American Ireland Fund has the best of all worlds, the New York Young Leaders once again combined friendship and fundraising for a spectacular evening.
