On Friday, July 25th, the Washington, DC Young Leaders on a summer Friday night at Town Hall in Glover Park for the 2nd annual Young Leaders Summer Social.
The event was an exciting addition to the bold calendar of events hosted in Washington, DC each year by the Young Leaders Steering committee and acted as a launch for their upcoming signature event, “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Celebration” taking place in September.
While the guests enjoyed cocktails and light fare, Steering Committee member Reilly O’Connor addressed the crowd and thanked them for their continuing support of the Promising Ireland Campaign, to which the Young Leaders have contributed $1.5 million to over the past two and a half years.
DC Steering Committee Chair Megan Molloy said this of the event: “The annual Summer Social provides a casual, yet festive atmosphere to connect with the good friends we've made through The American Ireland Fund and promote our annual fundraiser, Halfway to St Patrick's Day, which is coming up on Thursday September 25th."
“Halfway” as the event is called around DuPont Circle, has become the can’t miss event for the young, socially minded Washington, DC young executive.
