Philadelphia Young Leaders Christmas Celebration 2013

On Monday, December 16th, the Philadelphia Young Leaders of The American Ireland Fund got together to celebrate a great year of fundraising and raise a toast to the holidays.

The classic charm of The Union League of Philadelphia provided the perfect holiday setting to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while the music of Reed Kendall on the guitar provided a great backdrop for everyone to sing along and revel in holiday cheer.

Later on in the evening National Director of the Young Leaders, Pat Tully, addressed the supporters and spoke about an exciting 2014, starting in January with the third annual Young Leaders Global Summit which will be attended by 200 of their Young Leader colleagues who are heading to New York to discuss issues like fundraising and growing the Young Leader network.

Philadelphia Steering Committee Chair, Jason Early then took to the microphone to reminisce about a great year and the group’s inaugural Spring Celebration that took place at the iconic Franklin Institute in May. Jason promised a great 2014 calendar full of fundraisers and ‘friendraisers’ to continue and grow the network in the city of brotherly love.

The evening continued with a business card raffle with the where Ryan Bailey won a bottle of Jameson and Tripp Close took home a team signed 2013 Kerry GAA football jersey. The Young Leaders continued the celebration at an after-party at Ocean Prime.
