GREAT PARTNERSHIPS INCREDIBLE RESULTS!

Since 2012, our Best of Ireland Gala Dinner honorees have helped raise almost $5 million to aid some of our sickest children. The close-knit partnership forged between The Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Inc. (CMRF), The G-MAC Foundation and The Ireland Funds, demonstrates the power of committed people and organizations working together to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Thanks to the generosity of all those who supported our dinners, the Children’s Heart Centre was constructed at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin in Dublin; a new Cardiac Day Unit was built in the same facility; and funding was provided for some of the 35 young Irish doctors enlisted on The Clinical Fellowship Research Program in Ireland, benefitting sick children around the world. Since 1979, The Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Inc. (CMRF) has transformed the lives of children in need of urgent healthcare. We are guided by three core goals: enhancing patient experience, improving quality of life, and ensuring full recovery from serious illness. In collaboration with The Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF Crumlin) in Ireland, CMRF Inc. supports Ireland’s leading pediatric research institution, the National Children’s Research Center, based at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin in Dublin. A non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, CMRF Inc. is based in New York City. The GMAC Foundation and Graeme McDowell are committed to supporting seriously ill children in Ireland and the United States. Working with the leaders in children’s medicine, the Foundation raises funds for vital pediatric research and critical hospital projects. In addition, the Foundation brings children recovering from serious illnesses, and their families, from all over Ireland to Florida for the holiday of a lifetime. Graeme is also a committed supporter of Multiple Sclerosis charities, a cause that remains as one of his personal priorities. The Ireland Funds is a global philanthropic network established in 1976 to promote and support peace, culture, education and community development throughout the island of Ireland, and Irish-related causes around the world. With chapters in 12 countries, The Ireland Funds has raised over $600 million for deserving causes in Ireland and beyond, benefiting more than 3,200 different organizations.
