Luncheon – U.S. Northern Ireland Mentorship Program update 2012

The American Ireland Fund Chicago and Declan Kelly, CEO, Teneo Holdings hosted a luncheon for local companies to hear about the U.S. Northern Ireland Mentorship Program at the Chicago Club, Monday, October 1.

Former U.S Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland, Declan Kelly and The American Ireland Fund launched the US-Northern Ireland Mentorship Program in 2010. The program was developed to underpin the Peace Process and to support a lasting peace through economic prosperity by providing young people from Northern Ireland the opportunity to gain valuable business experience by spending one year working for a US corporation.

The objectives of the program are to develop the future business leaders and entrepreneurs of Northern Ireland by improving the essential business, management and leadership skills of the participants. The program has enjoyed two successful years with both participants and companies mutually benefiting from the experience.

Please contact The American Ireland Fund if you would like more information about the program.
