About

The collective chapters of The Ireland Fund Young Leaders from around the world will come together to host one event across 19 cities on 22 September 2018, in seven different countries. Starting in Brisbane, Australia, the Young Leaders and friends will run 5kms in their respective city before passing the ‘virtual baton’ off to the next city. The Global 5k will conclude when the last Young Leader crosses the finish line in San Francisco!

We invite everyone to join us to run, walk, shuffle, push the pram around the course or just come along for the BBQ and beers!

We had an amazing turnout for our first ever run last year and hope to increase numbers this year.

Supporting

We are delighted to announce that all funds will be donated to a Japanese charity called Mirai no Mori as well as an Irish charity called EPIC.

Both charities play a role in youth empowerment for disadvantaged children both here in Japan as well as back home in Ireland.
