Irish Chamber Orchestra Evening 2010

The Singapore Ireland Fund has as its mission to strengthen the links between Singapore and Ireland through arts, sports and culture, community development and education. We were delighted to support the world renowned c during their visit to Singapore in June. It was a fantastic event and the orchestra gave a memorable concert to an audience of 1,600 at the world class Esplanade Theatre.

The orchestra displayed their musicianship and ability to entertain by playing an exciting mix of music including celebrated classics and a selection of works with a strong Latin Flavour ranging from Vivaldi, Mozart and Piazzolla. Finishing off with an unique version of Danny Boy there was not a dry eye or anyone seating in their seats.

The concert was preceded with a cocktail reception where many of Ireland’s old friends in Singapore meet up and promised to see each other at the ball in November.
