Shaun Kelly, Global Chief Operating Officer with KPMG International continued The Ireland Funds Leadership Series with a marvelous lecture held in his hometown, Belfast.
He delivered his leadership lecture to launch Digital DNA, Northern Ireland’s biggest tech and innovation conference.
Shaun, a proud Belfast native now living in New York, spoke about growing up in Northern Ireland. He outlined his career path from Belfast, to Dublin, to San Francisco and now New York, and his current role overseeing 173 countries. He explained how in his career he believed in hard work, always aiming for excellence, and continuously striving to learn and develop one’s skills.
He highlighted how important serving on The Ireland Funds America Board of Directors was to him, and how it offered him insights into the non-profit sector, and also valuable board experience. He spoke about the Young Leaders and the need for the next generation of donors, and how he looked forward to seeing it grow and develop in his hometown of Belfast.
