A Gallery Circle event for the Philadelphia American Ireland Fund was hosted by Margo Dolan and Peter Maxwell at their home on Rittenhouse Square. Margo and Peter are the founders of the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Ballycastle, County Mayo.
Guests at the cocktail reception were surrounded by artwork from artists who have participated in the artist in residency program at Ballinglen. Jeff Reed and Randell Exon both spoke of their experiences at Ballinglen and Peter and Margo talked about their on-going love for the artist community and how important it is for the artists who participate and the local community of Ballycastle.
Attending the reception were Bob and Kate Loftus, who visited Ballinglen last June with their children, Michael and Michele Gallagher, Michael and Carole McCabe, Jim and Betsy Kane, Bruce McCullough and Sharon McCullough, AIF regional representative in Philadelphia.
