Tommy Gallagher hosted a gentlemen’s dinner as a thank you
for the 2012 Chairman Kevin Hanrahan, the golf committee, and prior Chairmen of
the golf tournament. Of the fourteen annual dinners hosted by
Tommy, this year’s was very special as the guest of honor was Netta
Blanchard.
Tommy and the Irish presented Netta with a Waterford
decanter. Many toasts were made in Netta’s honor and recalled her
tireless and selfless efforts to make the golf tournament and the AIF
successful. Several prior Chairmen fondly recalled their affectionate
memories of Netta over the years. It was a memorable evening for
all.
