Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway visit Celebratory Dinner at China Club 2016

On the occasion of Sir James and Lady Jeanne Galway concert and flute masterclass visit to Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, The Ireland Fund of China hosted a celebratory private dinner at the iconic China Club.

The guests included Anna Marie and Frank Sixt of CK Hutchison Holdings, Sally & Jim Thompson of Crown Worldwide Group.  Lisa & Patrick Yeung of Cathay Pacific and Randy Li of Ping An Securities joined also to hear what excellent raconteurs Sir James and Lady Jeanne are in addition to being supreme interpreters of the classical flute repertoire.

The diplomatic corps was represented by Caroline Wilson, British Consul General to Hong Kong & Macau and long-time special friends to The Ireland Funds Peter & Teresa Ryan, now more than one year into their post at the Consulate General of Ireland to Hong Kong & Macau. Donal Boylan, Chairman of The Ireland Fund of China, was delighted to hear from Lady Jeanne of the Galway’s upcoming collaboration with Music Generation, a flagship program supported by The Ireland Funds.
