The American Ireland Fund Chicago Young Leaders gathered together on June 27 at the O’Brien’s Riverwalk Café in downtown Chicago to network and catch up on recent developments for both The Ireland Funds and the Young Leaders.
Those in attendance braved a brief, albeit intense, thunderstorm but were ultimately greeted with blue skies and sunshine as they sipped cocktails along the Chicago River.
Several Young Leaders recently back from The Worldwide Ireland Funds Conference were able to provide the group with stories of the site visits, the Young Leader sessions and the great camaraderie experienced by all. The Summer Gathering is part of a recent initiative to have more frequent, less structured forums for Young Leaders to get together, network and connect with the Fund.
