Chicago -Young Leaders at Wrigley Field

A crowd of almost 100 Young Leaders enjoyed an afternoon watching Chicago Cubs baseball on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from the Wrigley View Rooftop. In addition to experiencing this unique venue from which to see the game the Young Leaders raised funds to support the important work of The American Ireland Fund.

The American Ireland Fund Young Leaders established their chapter (there are chapters all over the world) here in Chicago a little over a year ago. In that time they have hosted several social events and have participated in Leadership Forums. The mission of the Young Leaders program is to cultivate young friends of Ireland to network and support the philanthropic work of The American Ireland Fund.

Young Leaders have the opportunity to:

  • Help support Irish and Irish-American causes dedicated to peace & reconciliation, arts and culture, education and community development
  • Meet other successful, professional Chicago based Irish and Irish-American executives, leaders and artists
  • Participate in The American Ireland Fund Mentoring Program.
