On Thursday, July 11, 2013 Chicago Regional Advisory Board Director Thomas E. O’Neill and his wife Missy hosted the Regional Advisory Board Dinner and Leadership Forum at the Chicago Racquet Club. Former Mayor Richard M. Daley was our featured guest. He spoke about the wonderful people he met as Mayor who gave back to their community in extraordinary ways; the continuing needs of Chicago and the nation; and the global community he is working with through his company Tur Partners. His insights and remarks were captivating to those gathered.
The dinner was preceded by the quarterly board meeting. Items of discussion included the recent Worldwide Ireland Funds Conference in Kildare; the latest Promising Ireland Campaign news and the upcoming 29th Annual Chicago Dinner which will be held November 6, 2013 honoring KPMG and Head Football Coach for Northwestern University, Pat Fitzgerald.
This is a yearly event which gathers together our Regional Advisory Board; their spouses and guests and a featured speaker. It is a wonderful evening of camaraderie and fellowship.
