A merry group of Boston’s Young Leaders gathered for a holiday celebration on December 15th at the upscale Bostonia Public House. The revelers toasted the holidays and reviewed Young Leaders’ plans for 2015. Special guests included Breandán Ó Caollaí, Irish Consul General in Boston and proprietor of Bostonia Public House, Young Leader Dave Greaney.
The American Ireland Fund New England Director Steve Greeley spoke briefly about the Fund and its 2014 grant-making in Ireland. Steve also asked for a moment of silence in respect of the late-summer passing of dynamic Boston Young Leader Corey Griffin. As the night closed, several glasses were raised in appreciation of retiring Young Leader Coordinator Amy Ellis who did so much to build and maintain Boston’s Young Leaders group.
